The Texas Concealed Handgun Association Board of Directors is proud to announce plans for the 1st Members' Special Handgun Course. The class is presented by Tac Pro, whose owners are Association members.
For more information on the course of instruction contact Chris Bird at (210) 308-8191 or cjbird@satx.rr.com. The course is designed to take students beyond the Texas Concealed Handgun License training and give them a greater set of skills with which to defend themselves or others. The course will cover: Various situations an armed citizen is likely to encounter will be discussed. Tac Pro is very creative in designing courses of fire so you won't know what to expect. However everyone will be able to take part, whether you are a four-minute miler or old and slow. Bill Davison has owned and run Tac Pro Shooting Center for more than a decade. He is a member of TCHA and has supported the organization for many years by regularly donating three-day courses. He spent 14 years in the British Royal Marines where he was CQB instructor for the Special Boat Service (similar to the U.S. Navy SEALs). He has trained military and law enforcement personnel as well as civilians world wide. He will be assisted by Chris Bird, former TCHA president, CHL instructor and author of The Concealed Handgun Manual. $100 for members of TCHA; $200 for non-members. There is nothing to prevent non-members from joining to take advantage of the $100 deal. Space is limited to 40 students and payment is required when booking the course. A three-day primary handgun course at Tac Pro Shooting Center is normally $599 so this is an incredible bargain. The Course
